The author Breck Crandell and editor/prose contributor Rebecca Marshburn wanted the layout of the book Searching for Sea Gypsies: A glimpse into the world of nomadic seafaring peoples through the lens of an architect and a writer to take on the feel of a photographic journal. Allowing readers to jump in the story of their travels at any point.

All 200-page layouts are uniquely designed including journal entries, images, sketches, prose, and maps.
